KJV: For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
NASB: "For I also am a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, 'Go!' and he goes, and to another, 'Come!' and he comes, and to my slave, 'Do this!' and he does it."
KJV: The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
NASB: "A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a slave above his master.
KJV: It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
NASB: "It is enough for the disciple that he become like his teacher, and the slave like his master. If they have called the head of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they malign the members of his household!
KJV: So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
NASB: "The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, 'Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?'
KJV: He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
NASB: "And he said to them, 'An enemy has done this!' The slaves said to him, 'Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?'
KJV: Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.
NASB: "For this reason the kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who wished to settle accounts with his slaves.
KJV: The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
NASB: "So the slave fell to the ground and prostrated himself before him, saying, 'Have patience with me and I will repay you everything.'
KJV: Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.
NASB: "And the lord of that slave felt compassion and released him and forgave him the debt.
KJV: But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.
NASB: "But that slave went out and found one of his fellow slaves who owed him a hundred denarii; and he seized him and began to choke him, saying, 'Pay back what you owe.'
KJV: Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:
NASB: "Then summoning him, his lord said to him, 'You wicked slave, I forgave you all that debt because you pleaded with me.
