KJV: If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
NASB: "If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple.
KJV: And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
NASB: "Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.
