KJV: But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you.
NASB: But if you marry, you have not sinned; and if a virgin marries, she has not sinned. Yet such will have trouble in this life, and I am trying to spare you.
KJV: But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none;
NASB: But this I say, brethren, the time has been shortened, so that from now on those who have wives should be as though they had none;
KJV: And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not;
NASB: and those who weep, as though they did not weep; and those who rejoice, as though they did not rejoice; and those who buy, as though they did not possess;
KJV: And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.
NASB: and those who use the world, as though they did not make full use of it; for the form of this world is passing away.
KJV: Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
NASB: However not all men have this knowledge; but some, being accustomed to the idol until now, eat food as if it were sacrificed to an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
KJV: Mine answer to them that do examine me is this,
NASB: My defense to those who examine me is this:
KJV: Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar?
NASB: Do you not know that those who perform sacred services eat the food of the temple, and those who attend regularly to the altar have their share from the altar?
