And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written,
He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
and said to Him, "If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written, '
HE WILL COMMAND HIS ANGELS CONCERNING YOU'; and 'ON their HANDS THEY WILL BEAR YOU UP, SO THAT YOU WILL NOT STRIKE YOUR FOOT AGAINST A STONE.'"
And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus
charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.

For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.

Now Moses in the law
commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
"Now in the Law Moses
commanded us to stone such women; what then do You say?"
But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father
gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
