With their wickedness they make the king glad, And the princes with their lies.

Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
NASB:
If a trumpet is blown in a city will not the people tremble? If a calamity occurs in a city has not the LORD done it?

Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time.
NASB:
Therefore at such a time the prudent person keeps silent, for it is an evil time.
KJV:
And though they go into captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes upon them for evil, and not for good.
NASB:
"And though they go into captivity before their enemies, From there I will command the sword that it slay them, And I will set My eyes against them for evil and not for good."

All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.

"All the sinners of My people will die by the sword, Those who say, 'The calamity will not overtake or confront us.'

"Do not enter the gate of My people In the day of their disaster. Yes, you, do not gloat over their calamity In the day of their disaster. And do not loot their wealth In the day of their disaster.
