KJV: And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?
NASB: And again He said, "To what shall I compare the kingdom of God?
KJV: And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day?
NASB: And He said to them, "Which one of you will have a son or an ox fall into a well, and will not immediately pull him out on a Sabbath day?"
KJV: For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
NASB: "For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost to see if he has enough to complete it?
KJV: Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?
NASB: "Or what king, when he sets out to meet another king in battle, will not first sit down and consider whether he is strong enough with ten thousand men to encounter the one coming against him with twenty thousand?

NASB: "Therefore, salt is good; but if even salt has become tasteless, with what will it be seasoned?

NASB: "What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open pasture and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?

NASB: "Or what woman, if she has ten silver coins and loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?
KJV: And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.
NASB: "And he summoned one of the servants and began inquiring what these things could be.
KJV: And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.
NASB: "And he called him and said to him, 'What is this I hear about you? Give an accounting of your management, for you can no longer be manager.'
KJV: Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.
NASB: "The manager said to himself, 'What shall I do, since my master is taking the management away from me? I am not strong enough to dig; I am ashamed to beg.
