KJV: But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.
NASB: and He did not speak to them without a parable; but He was explaining everything privately to His own disciples.
KJV: While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?
NASB: While He was still speaking, they came from the house of the synagogue official, saying, "Your daughter has died; why trouble the Teacher anymore?"

NASB: And He began to speak to them in parables: "A man PLANTED A VINEYARD AND PUT A WALL AROUND IT, AND DUG A VAT UNDER THE WINE PRESS AND BUILT A TOWER, and rented it out to vine-growers and went on a journey.
