KJV: Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:
NASB: "Listen to another parable. There was a landowner who PLANTED A VINEYARD AND PUT A WALL AROUND IT AND DUG A WINE PRESS IN IT, AND BUILT A TOWER, and rented it out to vine-growers and went on a journey.
KJV: And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.
NASB: "When the harvest time approached, he sent his slaves to the vine-growers to receive his produce.
KJV: And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.
NASB: "The vine-growers took his slaves and beat one, and killed another, and stoned a third.
KJV: But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.

KJV: When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?
NASB: "Therefore when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vine-growers?"
KJV: They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.
NASB: They said to Him, "He will bring those wretches to a wretched end, and will rent out the vineyard to other vine-growers who will pay him the proceeds at the proper seasons."

KJV: And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard.
NASB: "At the harvest time he sent a slave to the vine-growers, in order to receive some of the produce of the vineyard from the vine-growers.
KJV: But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours.
NASB: "But those vine-growers said to one another, 'This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours!'
