KJV: And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee,
NASB: All of you shall have the sabbath products of the land for food; yourself, and your male and female slaves, and your hired man and your foreign resident, those who live as aliens with you.
KJV: And he shall reckon with him that bought him from the year that he was sold to him unto the year of jubile: and the price of his sale shall be according unto the number of years, according to the time of an hired servant shall it be with him.
NASB: He then with his purchaser shall calculate from the year when he sold himself to him up to the year of jubilee; and the price of his sale shall correspond to the number of years. It is like the days of a hired man that he shall be with him.
KJV: It shall not seem hard unto thee, when thou sendest him away free from thee; for he hath been worth a double hired servantto thee, in serving thee six years: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all that thou doest.
NASB: "It shall not seem hard to you when you set him free, for he has given you six years with double the service of a hired man; so the LORD your God will bless you in whatever you do.
KJV: Thou shalt not oppress an hired servantthat is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates:
NASB: "You shall not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your countrymen or one of your aliens who is in your land in your towns.
