NASB: Crispus, the leader of the synagogue, believed in the Lord with all his household, and many of the Corinthians when they heard were believing and being baptized.
KJV: And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace:
NASB: And when he wanted to go across to Achaia, the brethren encouraged him and wrote to the disciples to welcome him; and when he had arrived, he greatly helped those who had believed through grace,
KJV: Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused; and the more part knew not wherefore they were come together.
NASB: So then, some were shouting one thing and some another, for the assembly was in confusion and the majority did not know for what reason they had come together.
