KJV: And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or whatis our iniquity? or whatis our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God?
NASB: "Now when you tell this people all these words, they will say to you, 'For what reason has the LORD declared all this great calamity against us? And what is our iniquity, or what is our sin which we have committed against the LORD our God?'
KJV: O inhabitant of Lebanon, that makest thy nest in the cedars, how gracious shalt thou be when pangs come upon thee, the pain as of a woman in travail!
NASB: "You who dwell in Lebanon, Nested in the cedars, How you will groan when pangs come upon you, Pain like a woman in childbirth!
KJV: The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. Whatis the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.
NASB: "The prophet who has a dream may relate his dream, but let him who has My word speak My word in truth. What does straw have in common with grain?" declares the LORD.
KJV: And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, Whatis the burden of the LORD? thou shalt then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, saith the LORD.
NASB: "Now when this people or the prophet or a priest asks you saying, 'What is the oracle of the LORD?' then you shall say to them, 'What oracle?' The LORD declares, 'I will abandon you.'
