KJV: And Saul cast the javelin; for he said, I will smite David even to the wall with it. And David avoided out of his presence twice.
NASB: Saul hurled the spear for he thought, "I will pin David to the wall." But David escaped from his presence twice.
KJV: And Saul cast a javelin at him to smite him: whereby Jonathan knew that it was determined of his father to slay David.
NASB: Then Saul hurled his spear at him to strike him down; so Jonathan knew that his father had decided to put David to death.

KJV: Then will I leave thee upon the land, I will cast thee forth upon the open field, and will cause all the fowls of the heaven to remain upon thee, and I will fill the beasts of the whole earth with thee.
NASB: "I will leave you on the land; I will cast you on the open field. And I will cause all the birds of the heavens to dwell on you, And I will satisfy the beasts of the whole earth with you.
