KJV: And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned?
NASB: He spoke in the presence of his brothers and the wealthy men of Samaria and said, "What are these feeble Jews doing? Are they going to restore it for themselves? Can they offer sacrifices? Can they finish in a day? Can they revive the stones from the dusty rubble even the burned ones?"
KJV: For there were that said, We, our sons, and our daughters, are many: therefore we take up corn for them, that we may eat, and live.
NASB: For there were those who said, "We, our sons and our daughters are many; therefore let us get grain that we may eat and live."
KJV: And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who is there, that, being as I am, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.
NASB: But I said, "Should a man like me flee? And could one such as I go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in."
KJV: Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.
NASB: "You alone are the LORD. You have made the heavens, The heaven of heavens with all their host, The earth and all that is on it, The seas and all that is in them. You give life to all of them And the heavenly host bows down before You.
KJV: And testifiedst against them, that thou mightest bring them again unto thy law: yet they dealt proudly, and hearkened not unto thy commandments, but sinned against thy judgments, (which if a man do, he shall live in them;) and withdrew the shoulder, and hardened their neck, and would not hear.
NASB: And admonished them in order to turn them back to Your law. Yet they acted arrogantly and did not listen to Your commandments but sinned against Your ordinances, By which if a man observes them he shall live. And they turned a stubborn shoulder and stiffened their neck, and would not listen.
KJV: All the king's servants, and the people of the king's provinces, do know, that whosoever, whether man or woman, shall come unto the king into the inner court, who is not called, there is one law of his to put him to death, except such to whom the king shall hold out the golden sceptre, that he may live: but I have not been called to come in unto the king these thirty days.
NASB: "All the king's servants and the people of the king's provinces know that for any man or woman who comes to the king to the inner court who is not summoned, he has but one law, that he be put to death, unless the king holds out to him the golden scepter so that he may live. And I have not been summoned to come to the king for these thirty days."

NASB: "You will laugh at violence and famine, And you will not be afraid of wild beasts.

NASB: "For you will be in league with the stones of the field, And the beasts of the field will be at peace with you.
KJV: I loathe it; I would not live alway: let me alone; for my days are vanity.
NASB: "I waste away; I will not live forever. Leave me alone, for my days are but a breath.
KJV: If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.
NASB: "If a man dies, will he live again? All the days of my struggle I will wait Until my change comes.
