KJV: For the waters of Nimrim shall be desolate: for the hay is withered away, the grass faileth, there is no green thing.
NASB: For the waters of Nimrim are desolate. Surely the grass is withered, the tender grass died out, There is no green thing.
KJV: Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded: they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as corn blasted before it be grown up.
NASB: "Therefore their inhabitants were short of strength, They were dismayed and put to shame; They were as the vegetation of the field and as the green herb, As grass on the housetops is scorched before it is grown up.
KJV: And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.
NASB: Then you will see this, and your heart will be glad, And your bones will flourish like the new grass; And the hand of the LORD will be made known to His servants, But He will be indignant toward His enemies.
KJV: Yea, the hind also calved in the field, and forsook it, because there was no grass.
NASB: "For even the doe in the field has given birth only to abandon her young, Because there is no grass.
