KJV: Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan,
NASB: Then Jerusalem was going out to him, and all Judea and all the district around the Jordan;
KJV: But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
NASB: But He answered and said, "It is written, 'MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE, BUT ON EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD.'"
KJV: Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
NASB: "It is not what enters into the mouth that defiles the man, but what proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man."
