KJV: As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idolis nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
NASB: Therefore concerning the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that there is no such thing as an idol in the world, and that there is no God but one.
KJV: Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
NASB: However not all men have this knowledge; but some, being accustomed to the idol until now, eat food as if it were sacrificed to an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
KJV: And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
NASB: Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, "I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.
KJV: For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;
NASB: For they themselves report about us what kind of a reception we had with you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God,
