From mowt; a wavering, i.e. Fall; by implication, a pole (as shaking); hence, a yoke (as essentially a bent pole) -- bar, be moved, staff, yoke.

KJV: And they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put it upon a bar.
NASB: and they shall put it and all its utensils in a covering of porpoise skin, and shall put it on the carrying bars.
