KJV: There is a vanity which is done upon the earth; that there be just men, unto whom it happeneth according to the work of the wicked; again, there be wicked men, to whom it happeneth according to the work of the righteous: I said that this also is vanity.
NASB: There is futility which is done on the earth, that is, there are righteous men to whom it happens according to the deeds of the wicked. On the other hand, there are evil men to whom it happens according to the deeds of the righteous. I say that this too is futility.
KJV: Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
NASB: Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near when you will say, "I have no delight in them";
KJV: The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;
NASB: The flowers have already appeared in the land; The time has arrived for pruning the vines, And the voice of the turtledove has been heard in our land.
KJV: Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!
NASB: Woe to those who add house to house and join field to field, Until there is no more room, So that you have to live alone in the midst of the land!
