One of the scribes came and heard them arguing, and recognizing that He had answered them well, asked Him, "What commandment is the foremost of all?"

When some of the bystanders heard it, they began saying, "Behold, He is calling for Elijah."

And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.

When they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they refused to believe it.

And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:
