A primitive root; to aggregate -- gather (together), heap (up), lay up.
KJV: And let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities.
NASB: "Then let them gather all the food of these good years that are coming, and store up the grain for food in the cities under Pharaoh's authority, and let them guard it.
KJV: And Joseph gathered corn as the sand of the sea, very much, until he left numbering; for it was without number.
NASB: Thus Joseph stored up grain in great abundance like the sand of the sea, until he stopped measuring it, for it was beyond measure.
