From kolla ("glue"); to glue, i.e. (passively or reflexively) to stick (figuratively) -- cleave, join (self), keep company.
KJV: And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
NASB: and said, 'FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH '?
