KJV: How shall we do for wives for them that remain, seeing we have sworn by the LORD that we will not give them of our daughters to wives?
NASB: "What shall we do for wives for those who are left, since we have sworn by the LORD not to give them any of our daughters in marriage?"
KJV: Howbeit we may not give them wives of our daughters: for the children of Israel have sworn, saying, Cursed be he that giveth a wife to Benjamin.

NASB: Yet David vowed again, saying, "Your father knows well that I have found favor in your sight, and he has said, 'Do not let Jonathan know this, or he will be grieved.' But truly as the LORD lives and as your soul lives, there is hardly a step between me and death."
