"Can you bind the chains of the Pleiades, Or loose the cords of Orion?

Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?

"Can you bind the wild ox in a furrow with ropes, Or will he harrow the valleys after you?

Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens?

"Will you play with him as with a bird, Or will you bind him for your maidens?

Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:

Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart.
