Thy substance and thy treasures will I give to the spoil without price, and that for all thy sins, even in all thy borders.

"Your wealth and your treasures I will give for booty without cost, Even for all your sins And within all your borders.

We have drunken our water for money; our wood is sold unto us.

We have to pay for our drinking water, Our wood comes to us at a price.

Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.

"He will take action against the strongest of fortresses with the help of a foreign god; he will give great honor to those who acknowledge him and will cause them to rule over the many, and will parcel out land for a price.

The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.
