KJV: But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet.
NASB: "But if we say, 'From men,' all the people will stone us to death, for they are convinced that John was a prophet."

NASB: "But when the vine-growers saw him, they reasoned with one another, saying, 'This is the heir; let us kill him so that the inheritance will be ours.'
KJV: He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid.
NASB: "He will come and destroy these vine-growers and will give the vineyard to others." When they heard it, they said, "May it never be!"
KJV: And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?
NASB: But Jesus looked at them and said, "What then is this that is written: 'THE STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS REJECTED, THIS BECAME THE CHIEF CORNER stone'?
KJV: And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.
NASB: The scribes and the chief priests tried to lay hands on Him that very hour, and they feared the people; for they understood that He spoke this parable against them.
KJV: And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly:
NASB: They questioned Him, saying, "Teacher, we know that You speak and teach correctly, and You are not partial to any, but teach the way of God in truth.
