Middle voice of apparently a primary verb; to cure (literally or figuratively) -- heal, make whole.
KJV: The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
NASB: But the centurion said, "Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
KJV: And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
NASB: And Jesus said to the centurion, "Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed." And the servant was healed that very moment.
KJV: For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
