NASB: When the messenger came and told him, saying, "They have brought the heads of the king's sons," he said, "Put them in two heaps at the entrance of the gate until morning."
KJV: And he brought all the priests out of the cities of Judah, and defiled the high places where the priests had burned incense, from Geba to Beersheba, and brake down the high places of the gates that were in the entering in of the gate of Joshua the governor of the city, which were on a man's left hand at the gate of the city.
NASB: Then he brought all the priests from the cities of Judah, and defiled the high places where the priests had burned incense, from Geba to Beersheba; and he broke down the high places of the gates which were at the entrance of the gate of Joshua the governor of the city, which were on one's left at the city gate.
KJV: And the children of Ammon came out, and put the battle in array before the gate of the city: and the kings that were come were by themselves in the field.
NASB: The sons of Ammon came out and drew up in battle array at the entrance of the city, and the kings who had come were by themselves in the field.
