When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.
NASB:
So Jesus, perceiving that they were intending to come and take Him by force to make Him king, withdrew again to the mountain by Himself alone.
KJV:
Then the chief captain took him by the hand, and went with him aside privately, and asked him, What is that thou hast to tell me?
NASB:
The commander took him by the hand and stepping aside, began to inquire of him privately, "What is it that you have to report to me?"
KJV:
And when they were gone aside, they talked between themselves, saying, This man doeth nothing worthy of death or of bonds.
NASB:
and when they had gone aside, they began talking to one another, saying, "This man is not doing anything worthy of death or imprisonment."
