"Surely mockers are with me, And my eye gazes on their provocation.

They cause the naked to lodge without clothing, that they have no covering in the cold.

"They spend the night naked, without clothing, And have no covering against the cold.

My root was spread out by the waters, and the dew lay all night upon my branch.

'My root is spread out to the waters, And dew lies all night on my branch.

The stranger did not lodge in the street: but I opened my doors to the traveller.

"The alien has not lodged outside, For I have opened my doors to the traveler.

Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?
NASB:
"Will the wild ox consent to serve you, Or will he spend the night at your manger?
KJV:
She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place.
NASB:
"On the cliff he dwells and lodges, Upon the rocky crag, an inaccessible place.
KJV:
In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him.
NASB:
"In his neck lodges strength, And dismay leaps before him.
