KJV: And Saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him; and he said, They have ascribed unto David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed but thousands: and what can he have more but the kingdom?
NASB: Then Saul became very angry, for this saying displeased him; and he said, "They have ascribed to David ten thousands, but to me they have ascribed thousands. Now what more can he have but the kingdom?"
KJV: And Saul eyed David from that day and forward.
NASB: Saul looked at David with suspicion from that day on.
KJV: And it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul, and he prophesied in the midst of the house: and David played with his hand, as at other times: and there was a javelin in Saul's hand.
NASB: Now it came about on the next day that an evil spirit from God came mightily upon Saul, and he raved in the midst of the house, while David was playing the harp with his hand, as usual; and a spear was in Saul's hand.

KJV: And David said unto Saul, Who am I? and what is my life, or my father's family in Israel, that I should be son in law to the king?
NASB: But David said to Saul, "Who am I, and what is my life or my father's family in Israel, that I should be the king's son-in-law?"
