God said to Abram, "Know for certain that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, where they will be enslaved and oppressed four hundred years.
KJV:
I am a stranger and a sojourner with you: give me a possession of a buryingplace with you, that I may bury my dead out of my sight.
NASB:
"I am a stranger and a sojourner among you; give me a burial site among you that I may bury my dead out of my sight."

And she bare him a son, and he called his name Gershom: for he said, I have been a stranger in a strange land.
NASB:
Then she gave birth to a son, and he named him Gershom, for he said, "I have been a sojourner in a foreign land."
