A primitive root; to perfume -- apothecary, compound, make (ointment), prepare, spice.
KJV: And thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary: it shall be an holy anointing oil.
NASB: "You shall make of these a holy anointing oil, a perfume mixture, the work of a perfumer; it shall be a holy anointing oil.
KJV: Whosoever compoundeth any like it, or whosoever putteth any of it upon a stranger, shall even be cut off from his people.
NASB: Whoever shall mix any like it or whoever puts any of it on a layman shall be cut off from his people.'"
