Strong's Exhaustive Concordance

A primitive root; to disappear, i.e. Cease -- be clean gone (at an end, brought to nought), fail.
KJV: And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth.
NASB: When the money was all spent in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came to Joseph and said, "Give us food, for why should we die in your presence? For our money is gone."
KJV: And Joseph said, Give your cattle; and I will give you for your cattle, if money fail.
NASB: Then Joseph said, "Give up your livestock, and I will give you food for your livestock, since your money is gone."
KJV: Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore?
NASB: Has His lovingkindness ceased forever? Has His promise come to an end forever?
KJV: Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.
NASB: "Let the outcasts of Moab stay with you; Be a hiding place to them from the destroyer." For the extortioner has come to an end, destruction has ceased, Oppressors have completely disappeared from the land.
KJV: For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off:
NASB: For the ruthless will come to an end and the scorner will be finished, Indeed all who are intent on doing evil will be cut off;
