KJV: Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
NASB: "Whenever you fast, do not put on a gloomy face as the hypocrites do, for they neglect their appearance so that they will be noticed by men when they are fasting. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.
KJV: And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?
NASB: And He said to them, "What are these words that you are exchanging with one another as you are walking?" And they stood still, looking sad.
