Of uncertain derivation; clear -- + bewray, certain, evident, manifest.
KJV: And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee.
NASB: A little later the bystanders came up and said to Peter, "Surely you too are one of them; for even the way you talk gives you away."
KJV: For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
NASB: For HE HAS PUT ALL THINGS IN SUBJECTION UNDER HIS FEET. But when He says, "All things are put in subjection," it is evident that He is excepted who put all things in subjection to Him.
KJV: But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
NASB: Now that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, "THE RIGHTEOUS MAN SHALL LIVE BY FAITH."
