KJV: And said, If it please the king, and if I have found favour in his sight, and the thing seem right before the king, and I be pleasing in his eyes, let it be written to reverse the letters devised by Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, which he wrote to destroy the Jews which are in all the king's provinces:
NASB: Then she said, "If it pleases the king and if I have found favor before him and the matter seems proper to the king and I am pleasing in his sight, let it be written to revoke the letters devised by Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, which he wrote to destroy the Jews who are in all the king's provinces.
KJV: For how can I endure to see the evil that shall come unto my people? or how can I endure to see the destruction of my kindred?
NASB: "For how can I endure to see the calamity which will befall my people, and how can I endure to see the destruction of my kindred?"
KJV: Which rejoice exceedingly, and are glad, when they can find the grave?
NASB: Who rejoice greatly, And exult when they find the grave?
KJV: Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?
NASB: "Can you discover the depths of God? Can you discover the limits of the Almighty?
KJV: But as for you all, do ye return, and come now: for I cannot find one wise man among you.
NASB: "But come again all of you now, For I do not find a wise man among you.
KJV: But ye should say, Why persecute we him, seeing the root of the matter is found in me?
NASB: "If you say, 'How shall we persecute him?' And 'What pretext for a case against him can we find?'
KJV: He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night.
NASB: "He flies away like a dream, and they cannot find him; Even like a vision of the night he is chased away.
KJV: Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat!
NASB: "Oh that I knew where I might find Him, That I might come to His seat!
KJV: But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding?
NASB: "But where can wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding?
