KJV: Seeing there be many things that increase vanity, what is man the better?
NASB: For there are many words which increase futility. What then is the advantage to a man?
KJV: All things have I seen in the days of my vanity: there is a just man that perisheth in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man that prolongeth his life in his wickedness.
NASB: I have seen everything during my lifetime of futility; there is a righteous man who perishes in his righteousness and there is a wicked man who prolongs his life in his wickedness.
KJV: Because to every purpose there is time and judgment, therefore the misery of man is great upon him.
NASB: For there is a proper time and procedure for every delight, though a man's trouble is heavy upon him.
