KJV: A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.
NASB: A fool always loses his temper, But a wise man holds it back.
KJV: There be four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise:
NASB: Four things are small on the earth, But they are exceedingly wise:
KJV: The wise man's eyes are in his head; but the fool walketh in darkness: and I myself perceived also that one event happeneth to them all.
NASB: The wise man's eyes are in his head, but the fool walks in darkness. And yet I know that one fate befalls them both.
KJV: For there is no remembrance of the wise more than of the fool for ever; seeing that which now is in the days to come shall all be forgotten. And how dieth the wise man? as the fool.

KJV: And who knoweth whether he shall be a wise man or a fool? yet shall he have rule over all my labour wherein I have laboured, and wherein I have shewed myself wise under the sun. This is also vanity.
NASB: And who knows whether he will be a wise man or a fool? Yet he will have control over all the fruit of my labor for which I have labored by acting wisely under the sun. This too is vanity.
KJV: Better is a poor and a wise child than an old and foolish king, who will no more be admonished.
NASB: A poor yet wise lad is better than an old and foolish king who no longer knows how to receive instruction.
KJV: For what hath the wise more than the fool? what hath the poor, that knoweth to walk before the living?
NASB: For what advantage does the wise man have over the fool? What advantage does the poor man have, knowing how to walk before the living?
KJV: The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning; but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth.
NASB: The mind of the wise is in the house of mourning, While the mind of fools is in the house of pleasure.
