KJV: He that abideth in this city shall die by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence: but he that goeth out, and falleth to the Chaldeans that besiege you, he shall live, and his life shall be unto him for a prey.
NASB: "He who dwells in this city will die by the sword and by famine and by pestilence; but he who goes out and falls away to the Chaldeans who are besieging you will live, and he will have his own life as booty.
KJV: But if ye will not hear these words, I swear by myself, saith the LORD, that this house shall become a desolation.
NASB: "But if you will not obey these words, I swear by Myself," declares the LORD, "that this house will become a desolation."'"
