Revelation

6

1 And I watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying, as a voice of thunder, “Come!” 2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse, and the one sitting on it having a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went forth overcoming, and that he might conquer. 3 And when He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come!” 4 And another horse went forth, bright red; and to the one sitting on it, to him was granted to take the peace from the earth, and that they will slay one another; and a great sword was given to him. 5 And when He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, “Come!” And I looked, and behold, a black horse, and the one sitting on it having a pair of scales in his hand. 6 And I heard something like a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, “A choenix of wheat for a denarius, and three choenixes of barley for a denarius; and you should not injure the oil and the wine.” 7 And when He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come!” 8 And I looked, and behold, a pale horse, and the one sitting on it, the name of him was Death, and Hades was following with him; and authority was given to them over the fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, and with famine, and with plague, and by the beasts of the earth. 9 And word-definition " data-lexid="334312">when word-definition " data-lexid="334313">He opened the word-definition " data-lexid="334314">fifth seal, word-definition " data-lexid="334316">I saw word-definition " data-lexid="334317">under the word-definition " data-lexid="334318">altar the word-definition " data-lexid="334319">souls of those word-definition " data-lexid="334321">having been slain word-definition " data-lexid="334322">because of the word of God, and word-definition " data-lexid="334322">because of the word-definition " data-lexid="334326">testimony word-definition " data-lexid="334327">which word-definition " data-lexid="334328">they had upheld. 10 And they were crying in a loud voice, saying, “Until when, O Lord, holy and true, do You not judge and avenge our blood from those dwelling upon the earth?” 11 And to each of them were given white robes, and it was said to them that they shall rest yet a little time, until their fellow servants would also be complete, and their brothers, those being about to be killed as they also had been. 12 And I saw when He opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the whole moon became like blood, 13 and the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its unripe figs, being shaken by a great wind. 14 And heaven departed like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great ones, and the commanders, and the rich, and the powerful, and every slave and free, hid themselves in the caves, and among the rocks of the mountains. 16 And they say to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the One sitting on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, 17 because the great day of Their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”
