And
the
Sabbath having passed,
Mary
Magdalene, and
Mary
the
mother
of James, and
Salome
bought
spices,
that
having come,
they might anoint
Him.
2
And
very
early
on the
first
day
of the
week,
they come
to the tomb, the
sun
having arisen.
3
And
they were saying
among
themselves,
Who
will roll away
the
stone
for us from the
door
of the tomb?
4
And
having looked up,
the
y see
that
the
stone has been rolled away;
for
it was
extremely
large.
5
And
having entered
into
the
tomb,
the
y saw
a young man
clo
the
d in
a white
robe,
sitting
on
the
right;
and
the
y were greatly amazed.
6
And
he says
to them, Do not
be amazed.
You seek
Jesus, the Nazarene, the
One
having been crucified.
He is risen!
He is not here! Behold the
place
where
they laid
Him.
7
But
go,
say to His
disciples
and
to Peter
that
He goes before
you into
Galilee;
there
you will see
Him,
as
He said to you.
8
And
having gone out,
they fled
from the
tomb,
for
trembling
and
amazement
had seized
them. And
they spoke
nothing
to
anyone
;
for
they were afraid.
9
And
having risen
early
the
first
day
of the week,
He appeared
first
to Mary
Magdalene,
from
whom
He had cast out
seven
demons.
10
She
having gone,
told
it
to those
having been
with Him,
mourning
and
weeping.
11
And they
having heard
that
He is alive
and
has been seen
by her,
disbelieved.
12
And
after
these things,
He appeared
in
another
form
to two
of them as they are walking, going into
the
country.
13
And they
having gone,
told
it
to the
rest;
neither
did they believe
them.
14
And
afterward,
as
they
were reclining,
He appeared
to the
eleven and
rebuked
their
unbelief
and
hardness of heart,
because
they did not believe
those
having seen
Him
arisen.
15
And He said to them, Having gone in
to
all
the
world,
proclaim
the
gospel
to
all
the
creation.
16
The
one
having believed
and
having been baptized
will be saved,
but the
one
having disbelieved
will be condemned.
17
And
these
signs
will accompany
those
having believed:
In My
name
they will cast out
demons;
they will speak
with new
tongues;
18
and with their
hands
they will take up
serpents;
and if
they drink
anything
deadly,
it shall never hurt
them; they will lay
hands
upon
the
sick,
and
they will be
well.
19
Therefore
indeed the
Lord
Jesus, after
speaking
to them,
was taken up
into the
heaven
and
sat
at
the
right hand
of God.
20
And having gone forth, they
preached
everywhere, the
Lord
working with
them
and
confirming
the
word
by the
accompanying
signs.
