 This is what the Lord instructed Moses to do in building the walls. He said to set the boards that were joined by tenons and sockets. Tenons translates hand , power or direction over. Sockets translates Eden which means base or pedestal. This comes from the root word Adon which means Lord or Savior. Is this a picture of the foundation God sets for us by joining and directing us? If we connect with God, he gives us the power through the holy Spirit to follow His ways instead of our own. Our connection with God is through relationship and scripture. If I am honest, it’s the only thing that gives everlasting life and contentment in this life! Jesus is my base to connect with to hold my walls strong .

It’s apparent, the pattern we are to follow is Christ. God lays out a pattern  for us but so many times we try and turn it into a formula of our own and then tell others how to do it. Our pattern is to meet with God on the Mountain and let him lay out the desires of his heart for our own life. So freeing to only be responsible for our own relationship with Christ! This gives God the Glory,honor and leadership,not me. It truly gives me the freedom to be a Child of the King and serve only where he calls me to serve.
