From an unused root meaning to be erect; a palm tree -- palm (tree).
KJV: And they came to Elim, where were twelve wells of water, and threescore and ten palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters.
NASB: Then they came to Elim where there were twelve springs of water and seventy date palms, and they camped there beside the waters.
KJV: And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.
