From an unused root meaning to smell sweet; an aroma -- sweet (spice).
KJV: Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense,
NASB: oil for lighting, spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense,
KJV: And Aaron shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it.
NASB: "Aaron shall burn fragrant incense on it; he shall burn it every morning when he trims the lamps.
KJV: And the LORD said unto Moses, Take unto thee sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; these sweet spices with pure frankincense: of each shall there be a like weight:
