Apparently a primitive word; a maid-servant or female slave -- (hand-)bondmaid(-woman), maid(-servant).
KJV: So Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare children.
NASB: Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelech and his wife and his maids, so that they bore children.
KJV: Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.
