Strong's Exhaustive Concordance

From an unused root (meaning to be tender); green, i.e. A young ear of grain; hence, the name of the month Abib or Nisan -- Abib, ear, green ears of corn (not maize).
KJV: And the flax and the barley was smitten: for the barley was in the ear, and the flax was bolled.
NASB: (Now the flax and the barley were ruined, for the barley was in the ear and the flax was in bud.
KJV: This day came ye out in the month Abib.
NASB: "On this day in the month of Abib, you are about to go forth.
KJV: Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)
NASB: "You shall observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread; for seven days you are to eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the appointed time in the month Abib, for in it you came out of Egypt. And none shall appear before Me empty-handed.
