KJV: And Saul's uncle said unto him and to his servant, Whither went ye? And he said, To seek the asses: and when we saw that they were no where, we came to Samuel.
NASB: Now Saul's uncle said to him and his servant, "Where did you go?" And he said, "To look for the donkeys. When we saw that they could not be found, we went to Samuel."
KJV: And Saul's uncle said, Tell me, I pray thee, what Samuel said unto you.
NASB: Saul's uncle said, "Please tell me what Samuel said to you."
KJV: And Saul said unto his uncle, He told us plainly that the asses were found. But of the matter of the kingdom, whereof Samuel spake, he told him not.
NASB: So Saul said to his uncle, "He told us plainly that the donkeys had been found." But he did not tell him about the matter of the kingdom which Samuel had mentioned.

KJV: And the people said unto Samuel, Who is he that said, Shall Saul reign over us? bring the men, that we may put them to death.
NASB: Then the people said to Samuel, "Who is he that said, 'Shall Saul reign over us?' Bring the men, that we may put them to death."
