NASB: Then David said to his son Solomon, "Be strong and courageous, and act; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you until all the work for the service of the house of the LORD is finished.
KJV: Then the people of the land weakened the hands of the people of Judah, and troubled them in building,
NASB: Then the people of the land discouraged the people of Judah, and frightened them from building,

NASB: So I sent messengers to them, saying, "I am doing a great work and I cannot come down. Why should the work stop while I leave it and come down to you?"

KJV: My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.
