As I mentioned I struggled for many years with legalism and performance. I was in various churches where the pastor created formulas and check lists for us to follow and I did it myself to myself. And there was always an unwritten rule about what to follow, do and how to act and even speak in the congregration. In other words conform. But God has done an amazing work in me and He healed me over time as I was on a prayer walk with Him regarding this topic. Where does the law fit in. (We were coming out of messianic Judaism which tends to be all over the place (no offense to anyone) on this topic. But the sense I had was the Lord speaking to me this way: "What did Christ do? He only said and did what He heard His father doing and saying. As I thought about that and was excited because that meant the only way Christ could do that was to be in very close fellowship with His Father. In other words, relationship with His Father. At this time too we were watching Loveusrael videos and breaking them down on how to study for us. So the message of living a praiseworthy life to God was parful (as baruch says)
