God created rest. He didn't simply rest; God is eternal all encompassing and capable of everything and anything. "Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath" (Mark 2:27)

Here, God literally created rest.

The entirety of the cosmos and everything in it seen or unseen was completed by God at the completion of a literal 24 hour day on day 6
